Balky vs. Bulky
Balky: given to acting in opposition to others (we learned this on our first day!)
- The student was too balky to teach; he wouldn't listen to anything!
Bulky: Massive; heavily built (of a person)
- When I saw the bulky figure of the man, I could easily guess that he was a successful body-builder.

- The dilettante often bragged about his shallow knowledge about paintings.
