- The nascent bird timidly hatched out of the egg.

2. Inchoate
(adj.) just begun, therefore undeveloped (stage)
- The plan is still at an inchaote stage, and therefore we cannot make any promises or guarantees.

3. Tyro
(n.) a beginner or a novice
- The master had a hard time dealing with the tyro, because he had to walk through every step with him.

Confusing Words

Ardent vs. Arduous

Ardent: having or showing enthusiasm
- The girl is an ardent fan of basketball.
Arduous: demanding great labor or effort * used very frequently by mr. andy park
(this is an arduous task! every time in bio;;;)
- The homework given to us today is arduous; it is impossible to finish this by tomorrow.

(adj.) very bare, bleak, simple, yet has a connotation of being strict (i guess in terms of person)
Many famous paintings are astounding in its austere simplicity and vivacity.


2. Uncanny
(adj.) strange or mysterious
I had an uncanny feeling that someone across the street was staring at me.

3. Truculent
(adj.) eager to fight, violent
Tybalt is a truculent man as shown in Act 3 scene 1.

4. Pungent
(adj.) having a sharp, strong quality especially related to smell
Kimchi is infamous for its pungent smell to some of the West people.
